0645 Hrs: Hotel/Residence Pick-Up

Your day begins with a prompt pick-up from your hotel or residence at 0645 hrs. After introductions and a brief overview of the itinerary, you’ll begin your scenic drive to Naivasha, which will take approximately two hours. On the way, enjoy a stopover at the View Point where you can take in the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley.

0900 Hrs: Hell’s Gate National Park

The first stop on your adventure is Hell’s Gate National Park, located about 90 kilometers south of Lake Naivasha. Known for its hot springs and raptor breeding grounds, this park is one of the most picturesque in Kenya. It’s also one of the only parks where you can walk, ride bicycles, rock climb, and camp within the park. Explore the stunning landscapes and unique geothermal features before heading to Crater Lake for a delicious hot lunch.

1400 Hrs: Lake Naivasha

After lunch, the next destination is Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake that is home to a variety of birds and wildlife. Here, you will enjoy a boat ride to Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary. Crescent Island is an ecological gem, formed by the submerged rim of an ancient volcanic crater, and is home to diverse wildlife, including small herds of antelope. Depending on the lake level, Crescent Island may be a peninsula or an island, and you’ll have the chance to walk among these serene animals in their natural habitat.

1700 Hrs: Depart for Nairobi

After your visit to Crescent Island, you will embark on the return journey to Nairobi. The scenic drive back should take approximately two hours.

1900 Hrs: Arrival in Nairobi

You will arrive in Nairobi around 1900 hrs, where our team will transfer you back to your hotel or residence.
