Nairobi –Amboseli

Depart from Nairobi at 08.00 hrs. A safari briefing session with our Tour consultant before starting off the safari to Amboseli National Reserve at the foothills of the snowcapped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Game viewing enroute arrival in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.

Amboseli National Park

While on this safari we will visit the Amboseli National Park which was originally opened in 1968. The park is fairly small with an area of 392 sq. km and is amazingly very rich in both flora and fauna. Amboseli One of Kenya’s most popular parks, mainly due to the magnificent backdrop of snow-capped Kilimanjaro- 5,895 Meters Africa’s highest point, which dominates the sweeping game dotted plains. Waters from its melting snow feed the marshland and swamps below, so that hippos are found throughout the year. The park’s main attraction is the vast herds of elephants; the bulls elephants have some of the largest tusks in Kenya, and also found in the park are giraffe, cheetah, wildebeest, and hyena

3 Amboseli National Park – Aberdare National Park

Pre breakfast game drives to view the highest peak in Africa and a chance to take the most magnificent portrait.  We drive via Nairobi to the central highlands of Kenya. We pass through the rich farmlands of the kikuyu people seeing coffee and pineapple plantations and colourful villages. You arrive in Nyeri in time for lunch served at the Outspan Hotel the base hotel for the Treetops. After lunch, a transfer is provided to the Treetops which are strategically situated for night game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Treetops

4 Tree Hotel – Lake Nakuru

Depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru via Nairobi. Lunch en route and we enjoy viewing the scenery arrive at the Pink Lake referred so due to the numerous Flamingos. We arrive in good time for lunch at a lodge followed by full afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge or similar

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru is famous for its masses of flamingo’s and the over 400 of birds species found here. It’s a soda lake on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The panorama of millions of flamingos from afar the lake appears ringed in pink which is quite spectacular. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. view tree climbing lions and other mammals found here such as waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here

5     Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

We depart from the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Masai Mara to get there in good time for Lunch. Late afternoon game viewing drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at Mara Leisure or similar

6 Day 6/7    Maasai Mara Game Reserve

Full days in Masai Mara game Reserve the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife exploring the reserve with an excellent chance of seeing the Big 5. Morning and afternoon game drive. Optional sunrise flight of hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person .Meals and overnight at Camp – Afternoon nature walk with a Masai guide can be arranged between gamedrive.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Masai Mara Game Reserve is rich in diverse and large numbers of wildlife in that it is almost unbelievable that over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. Mammals such as  see lions, elephant, rhinos, hippos, buffalo, leopard ,crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, and many varieties of antelopes. The Mara is the theatre of perhaps one of the world’s most awesome event of the natural world the famous migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra across the Serengeti plains (Tanzania) between July and September in search of water and pasture. Following in hot pursuits are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures

8 Masai Mara – Nairobi

After a leisurely breakfast, depart early for Nairobi via Narok and ascend the escarpment to the central highlands. You will arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon for your shopping and freshening up. Farewell dinner at the carnivore before being dropped off at the airport for your journey back home.
